Parrots
Parrots are special creatures that need special care and an experienced caregiver. Kelsie was trained by Liz Wilson in parrot behavior and works with Phoenix Landing. Parrot diets are complex, Kelsie offers husbandry/behavior sessions also.
Because parrots have different needs than other pets we tailor our visits around their needs! We give them time out of their cage at every visit, if they are fearful of strangers we will leave them alone while quietly care for them.
Kelsie & Eric has 6 large parrots themselves. It's important for your pet sitter to know the warning signs of a parrot in distress. Parrots mask their illness very well, this is why you need someone who knows what to look for and how to deal with any issue that may arise.
